About Me

Meet Rachel Krentzman

Rachel Krentzman PT, C-IAYT, CHT, MBA has been practicing yoga and physical therapy for almost three decades. She established and managed a private practice for over twenty-five years and is the founder of an accredited yoga therapy training program. She has educated hundreds of students around the world in the application of yoga therapy for healing.

Rachel received her 2,000-hour yoga teacher training with world-renowned instructor and student of B.K.S. Iyengar, Aadil Palkhivala, and has continued advanced training with Judith Lasater, PT, and Aman Keays of the Full Circle Yoga Institute in San Diego.

Curious about the impact of emotions and stress on the body, she became a certified Hakomi psychotherapist in 2022 and is developing new courses that integrate somatic, body-centered psychotherapy with yoga therapy for personal healing.

Rachel is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, where she served on the accreditation board, and is registered as an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. Her passion is training yoga teachers, and she has created multiple courses for Yoga U Online.

Rachel has authored two yoga therapy books: Yoga for a Happy Back: A Teacher’s Guide to Spinal Health through Yoga Therapy (2016) and Scoliosis, Yoga Therapy and the Art of Letting Go (2016). She was also a contributor to Yoga Therapy for Children and Teens with Complex Needs (2023) and Yoga Therapy Foundations, Tools and Practice (2021). She recently released her memoir, As Is: A Memoir on Healing the Past Through Yoga (2025), a deeply personal account of her journey.

Rachel recently completed her MBA in Healthcare Innovation at Reichman University (2025) and is currently focusing her work on integrating yoga therapy into the healthcare system.

She loves traveling, writing, and swimming in open water.
